Slough Borough Council commenced a multi-million pound investment in primary and secondary school buildings – to provide enough places for Slough’s current and future young people. The work was delivered by Slough Urban Renewal (SUR). This extension has significantly increased the capacity of Claycots Primary School.
The three-storey extension and part remodelling/refurbishment has delivered a multi-use dining/sports hall and an additional 15 classrooms for pupils at Claycots Primary School. This has increased the school from a two form entry to a four form entry school, significantly increasing the number of school places available for local children. The extension was completed in December 2017 ready for the start of the new term in January 2018 and the external works were finished in February 2018.
