A new extension, which delivered enhanced teaching facilities at Claycots Primary School.

An exciting new three-storey extension provided a new multi-use hall and an additional 15 classrooms.

Claycots School is one of the seven projects delivered as part of the Council’s programme, dedicated to improving and extending existing school buildings and facilities in Slough.

Slough Borough Council commenced a multi-million pound investment in primary and secondary school buildings – to provide enough places for Slough’s current and future young people. The work was delivered by Slough Urban Renewal (SUR). This extension has significantly increased the capacity of Claycots Primary School.

The three-storey extension and part remodelling/refurbishment has delivered a multi-use dining/sports hall and an additional 15 classrooms for pupils at Claycots Primary School. This has increased the school from a two form entry to a four form entry school, significantly increasing the number of school places available for local children. The extension was completed in December 2017 ready for the start of the new term in January 2018 and the external works were finished in February 2018.
