We are Slough Urban Renewal (SUR) – a joint venture partnership between Slough Borough Council and the national placemaker Muse. Our purpose is to help transform the borough for all who live and work here.
In December 2020 we created a snapshot of our story so far (this is still available to view below). The snapshot aimed to explore the first seven years of our joint venture partnership, reflecting on what had already been achieved, while looking ahead to the many positives that were still to come for the town and its residents. Since its publication we have transformed the old library site, delivering 64 new apartments at Novus Apartments, we well as the adjoining, and award-winning Moxy Hotel and Residence Inn. We have also secured planning committee approval for over 500 new homes in the borough at Montem Lane, Stoke Wharf and Wexham South.
