From your initial enquiry and reservation through to the eventual completion and the handing over of your new home, we are committed to delivering a high level of customer service throughout.
We have a dedicated sales team on site at Wexham Green and our sales and marketing suite is open daily between 10am and 5pm. You can contact us via the website, by email, by phone or by calling into the marketing suite, during opening hours. Upon your initial enquiry, one of our sales team will take the time to discuss with you your individual requirements – they will talk you through the homes we have available and the various schemes we have on offer to assist with your potential purchase. You will also be invited to visit us on site, where one of our sales team will be able to provide you with a copy of our brochure and show you the various specification materials as well as our model and our more detailed development plans. This appointment will be an opportunity for you to understand more detail about the homes we have on offer and for you to get any additional questions you may have answered. If you decide that you would be interested in purchasing one of our new homes at Wexham Green then we would be happy to make a second appointment for you so that you can come back with any further questions and/or bring along any friends/family, who may be involved in the purchasing process.
Prior to your first or second visit to site, we can put you in touch directly with one of our recommended Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). You will be under no obligation to go with the mortgage product/s they recommend but they will be able to give you a more accurate picture of the various buying options you have available to you and they will be able to give you a realistic picture of what you are able to borrow and the likely monthly repayments etc. Once this qualification process has taken place then (assuming you have/are able to borrow sufficient funds) you can proceed to making a reservation.
To support you with your future purchase, we may be able to offer access to a number of ways to buy such as offering assisted move or providing you with access to the Government’s Help to Buy scheme. The incentives available will vary depending on the individual property you wish to purchase but our sales team will be able to provide you with all the information you require.

With a Help to Buy Equity Loan the Government lends you up to 20% of the cost of your newly built home, so you’ll only need a 5% cash deposit and a 75% mortgage to make up the rest. You won’t be charged loan fees on the 20% loan for the first five years of owning your home. This is proving a popular route into home ownership for many of today’s buyers – helping to reduce the amount of deposit you are required to save, while allowing buyers to take advantage of better mortgage rates. Maximum purchase price £600,000.
If you wish to go ahead and make a reservation at Wexham Green, one of our sales team will sit down with you in person and run through the completion of a formal reservation form. To complete this form, we will require:
Confirmation from one of our IFAs that you are financially in a position to proceed
Your full name, address and contact details – for yourself and anyone else, who will feature on the mortgage
Details of your mortgage provider
Details of your solicitor/conveyancer – name/address/contact details
Details of any existing properties you have to sell, in order to proceed with your purchase (if applicable)
A reservation fee of £1,000 or £500 if you are purchasing using the HelptoBuy scheme (which can be paid by cheque or by debit/credit card)
Photographic identification, i.e. a passport or drivers licence for each purchaser
One proof of address - this needs to be either a bank statement or utility bill, clearly showing your name and address (mobile phone bills cannot be accepted)
If you are purchasing one of our new homes off-plan, we will be able to give you an indication of when your home is due to be competed. However, this date may be subject to change and we will endeavour to maintain regular contact with you to advise of any likely changes to this date.
It is our standard policy to ask that an exchange of contracts takes place within 28 days of you making a reservation. Both SUR as the developer and yourself/yourselves as the purchaser/s will be required sign identical contracts. When these contracts are formally exchanged by the solicitors the deal becomes legally binding. You will be required to pay 10% of the purchase price at this stage, unless you are using the maximum HelptoBuy allowance and then this will be reduced to 5%.
The time between exchange of contacts and legal completion will be dependent on a number of factors, including the build progress on site (if you are purchasing off-plan). We will always endeavour to deliver your home within the timescales advised during your reservation. However, if for any reason any unforeseen delays occur, we will ensure you are kept informed and updated thought the process. Where relevant, we will also work with you to help alleviate any unavoidable inconveniences you may have occurred, because of any such delay.
Prior to your completion, we will invite you to visit your new home, where one of our sales team will conduct a Home Demonstration for you. This appointment is designed to help familiarise you with your property and the mechanics of running your home – how to use the boiler/where your meters are located/how to operate any appliances included etc. Following this appointment at your property, legal completion will take place.
This is the exciting bit where you officially become the legal owner of your new home and the keys are handed over to you! On completion day, your solicitor will arrange for the outstanding monies to be transferred to our solicitor and the property will become yours. One of our sales team will arrange to meet you on site/at your property to hand over to you your keys, along with your Homeowners Manual – this manual explains the running of your new home. Within the manual, you will find details of your NHBC Warranty – the NHBC 10 Year Buildmark Warranty gives you total peace of mind that your new home comes with a 10-year warranty and insurance cover. You will also find emergency contact details and relevant information about local services and amenities within your manual. Once the completion monies have been received by our solicitors, you are then free to move in and begin enjoying your new home at Wexham Green.
