New venture in Slough set to transform the borough

A new partnership has been formed to deliver a series of exciting new projects across Slough. Slough Urban Renewal is a new collaboration between Morgan Sindall Investments Limited and Slough Borough Council and will deliver a broad range of residential, commercial and retail schemes designed to enhance the lives of those who live and work in the borough.

The partnership’s first residential scheme is now underway. The aptly named Milestone, will be the first in a series of exciting new residential schemes, providing vital, quality housing within the town. Located on Ledgers Road on the former Town Hall site and situated close to the town centre, Milestone will comprise 73 units in total, a mixture of one and two bedroom apartments and two and three bedroom houses. The homes, which will all be highly specified, will set the standard for the town’s future residential developments and will offer both private homes and those for affordable rent. Help to Buy will be available across the scheme to assist those keen to take their first step onto the housing ladder.

Milestone is expected to launch in spring next year, with the first of the homes due to be ready for occupation by autumn 2016.
